Brussels

Brussels brought us bad luck. I want to go back again and have some good experiences there as I still feel it had something to offer us that we missed out on. After companies and organisers of workshops giving us wrong addresses and false information the frustration was real and the productivity not so much. We laugh now, and we draw on some of the positive experiences. The beautiful sights and buildings of the city centre were nothing like I’ve seen before, and the Belgium waffle tasted like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. Taking jazz classes in French it was challenging but valuable experience. In fact, it only encouraged me to read through body language and pick up more French vocabulary. The constant emailing back and forth with professionals is something that has become a part of my every day routine, and my confidence in the building relationships with people and contacting first has increased massively.
